A former journalist turned accountant, Jeanne says that her life experience comes in handy when helping others plan their own unorthodox paths. “I am known for my ability to work with oddball situations,” she says. “People say that I’m as much a counselor as an accountant because I like finding the obscure solution and empowering clients to make informed decisions.”

Out of the office Jeanne has a talent for singing harmony in small ensembles. Music is an integral part of life for this San Luis Obispo native, who also enjoys reading, gardening, hiking and hosting small dinner parties with her husband. Jeanne is also deeply committed to the future of performing arts in San Luis Obispo as a volunteer with the Foundation for the Performing Arts Center as well as the local Rotary Club. Relentlessly looking forward, Jeanne wants to be remembered as the one who asks, “What’s next?”

  • Jeanne’s numerous hobbies and interests include gardening, playing piano, reading, traveling, hiking, skiing and singing in the Cuesta Master Chorale and Vocal Arts Ensemble.
  • An avid reader, Jeanne counts authors Jane Smiley and Thomas Friedman among her current favorites and says the book, The World is Flat should be required reading for every young American.
