Tim Dossa
Principal
You might say that Tim had no choice but to develop a love of learning given that he descends from a long line of teachers. “I found early on in my career that if you are flexible and open to new ideas and change, the world will open up to you in ways you never imagined,” he says.
This approach has afforded him a rewarding career both inside and outside of traditional accounting roles. Tim began his career as an auditor in public accounting, including two years at Glenn Burdette, before spending 19 years with a Fortune Top 10 company. There, he gained expertise in technical accounting; record-to-report process; project management; software implementations; cross-functional team management; vendor selection and oversight, and more.
Happy to be back on the Central Coast with Glenn Burdette, Tim brings many skills to the table which will help expand Glenn Burdette’s consulting services offerings. He is known for his ability to tackle a wide range of issues related to accounting, process improvement, automation, innovation, technology and change management. He also looks forward to developing long-lasting relationships in the local community.
When he’s not working, Tim adores time with his wife and two children and feels that parenting is the greatest gift and challenge of all.
Tim feels that working with teams is important because diversity of thought leads to the best ideas.
A love of nature was instilled in Tim during vacations at his parents’ cabin in Twain Harte, in the Sierra Nevadas.
Tim enjoys home improvement projects and spending time outdoors.
