Craig Filipponi

As a SLO County native, Craig is grateful to be back on the Central Coast after launching his career as a public accountant with KPMG servicing Fortune 500 companies in the Silicon Valley.

“In the Bay Area, there was no personal connection with a client. Here at Glenn Burdette it is rewarding to see how my work impacts my client’s business and I can be a part of their success” says Craig. “At Glenn Burdette, I enjoy the personal connection with clients and am constantly striving to help business owners solve financial or tax-related problems and make running the business easier.”

In his role at Glenn Burdette, Craig demonstrates a solid understanding of business and accounting issues facing wineries, vineyards, construction companies and professional service firms. He also works in conjunction with the audit team, performing deferred income tax provision calculations. He is known for organizing and analyzing large amounts of data and for his ability to consolidate and interpret the results to clients.

When he’s not working, Craig enjoys active outings with his wife and two children, as well as pairing his love of professional baseball and football with craft beer and buffalo wings. He also finds volunteer work extremely rewarding and invests his time as Director and Treasurer at the San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum, which inspires children to use their imagination and learn through play.
