Dave began his accounting career in Anchorage, Alaska working with Ernst & Young. When he and his wife returned to California, they found San Luis Obispo to be a breath of fresh air compared to their former life in Orange County.
Dave joined Glenn Burdette in 1977, and is he is known for his sound judgment and work with estates, in the areas of both planning and compliance. He is also an expert in complex real estate transactions, partnerships and LLCs. “Many times the help we provide goes beyond numbers,” Dave says. “Personal situations can often impact or be impacted by tax issues.”
When he’s not working, Dave may be found cycling, fishing, hunting and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Dave is also active with his church, and travels with a group to Mexico once a year, where he helps build homes for families living in poverty. “I learned a lot about commitment and faith watching my parents minister to people in need,” Dave says.
