Away from the office
- Chris is passionate about getting new interns interested in opening up a Roth IRA account because of the enormous benefit, particularly for those who start young.
- Chris’s love for singing was instilled in him by his grandmother, who would play Frank Sinatra for hours in the car.
- Chris attended Cal Poly’s London Study Program, which inspired him to live across the country for a few years.
Chris knew early on that he had a knack for numbers, as he remembers being banned from certain school math games because he could outperform the other kids.
Now having worked for a decade in the accounting field, Chris finds it to be a rewarding path, and appreciates the opportunity to work alongside clients and transform their future. Through his experience with industries including manufacturing, real estate, golf courses and non-profit organizations, Chris is known for his ability to help clients realize their financial goals and navigate through transitional periods. He enjoys delivering personal service and explaining tax subjects in a simple, clear manner that clients can understand.
Sports and music have always been two of Chris’s great loves. This six-foot-seven-inch tall basketball player and golfer also frequently had a microphone in his hand as a child. After high school, he took a year off from college and traveled around the country in a singing group. He later was one of the founding members of Cal Poly’s first a cappella group, Take it SLO. Today, he still sings and plays piano at church, and enjoys time with his wife as well as working with youth in order to instill confidence and joy in the next generation.
