Terri Smith

In her crucial role as controller, Terri plays a key part in keeping the Glenn Burdette engine running. “There are many functions of my job that touch everyone in the firm,” Terri says. “Staff reach out to me for a vast array of requests, from work related tasks to simply needing an ear.”

A part of the Glenn Burdette team since 1991, this Cal Poly graduate and Palo Alto native has witnessed technology transform the everyday rhythms of the workplace. From the full implementation of desktop computers to the development of the internet and mobile phones, she finds it exciting to see the evolution.

When she’s not working, Terri loves to travel and enjoy epicurean excursions with her husband, Mike, who is an excellent cook. A former track athlete in school, she also enjoys running and hiking, as well as reading a good book.

“My longevity here is a testament of truly being happy where I work,” Terri says. “Glenn Burdette supports its staff at a very high level to help us achieve and be our best.”
